Exchange House Ireland National Travellers Service
Exchange House Ireland National Travellers Service is an organisation of Traveller and non-Traveller people working together to provide services to Traveller men and women, Traveller families, and Traveller young people and children, many of whom are in crisis.
It is the largest front line Travellers specific service in Ireland and has been providing services for Travellers since 1980. They pride themselves in working with some of the most marginalised members of the Traveller community.
It is a multi-disciplinary service provider, with a staff in excess of 60, offering Family Support, Youth Services, Addiction Services, Mental Health Services and Education Services to members of the Traveller community in the Dublin area; they also have Mental Health Services in Offaly, North Cork and West Cork. In 2012 the National Traveller Suicide Awareness Project joined Exchange House Ireland providing suicide related support and training nationwide. They also deliver other national services through training, provision of expertise and partnerships with other organisations providing services to Travellers in Ireland.
